MalangPony Code of Conduct

Thank you for taking interest in MalangPony.
「MalangPony」is a fan event of My Little Pony, run by the MalangPony staff.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please follow our Code of Conduct.
By registering for the MalangPony event, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Code of Conduct.
Attending
- MalangPony event is for all ages. Minors less than 14 years old must attend with a guardian, or carry an agreement form signed by their guardian at all times. Contact us to get a copy of the agreement form.
- If a minor of less than 14 years of age is attending the event without a guardian cannot prove that they have their guardian’s permission, they may be barred from entering the event, or be asked to leave.
- If a minor of less than 14 years of age is attending the event along with a guardian, both the minor and the guardian must purchase an admission badge.
- Contents of all panels, vendor tables, and art gallery must be suitable for all ages. The staff gets the final say on whether a piece of media is appropriate or not.
Registration, Transfer, and Refunds
- Registration is done by submitting the Google Form. Transferring the registration is not available.
- An admission badge is eligible for a refund only until the final day of pre-registration ticket sales.
- If you need your badge refunded, contact any of the MalangPony official accounts.
Basic Rules
- Please abide by the Code of Conduct and follow the staff while in the venue.
- You may be barred from entering the event if you do not carry your admission badge. Please wear your badge where it’s easy for the staff to see. If you have lost your badge, let the staff know immediately.
- If a dispute arises between attendees, please settle the issue between the parties involved. You may ask the staff for help, but the staff will only provide assistance in resolving the problem, and will not provide compensation or assurance.
- Cosplay is allowed, but please note that there are no changing rooms in the event venue. Additionally, please refrain from wearing any clothing that may make others uncomfortable.
- In case of emergencies such as fires or earthquakes, please follow instructions from the staff.
Personal Belongings
- Please be wary of your personal belongings.
- Do not touch others’ belongings without their permission.
- If you come across a suspicious object in the venue, do not touch the object, and notify the staff immediately.
- Lost items will be kept for 30 days after the event, and will be disposed of afterwards. If you have lost something, please contact the staff within the time period.
- The staff is not responsible for any loss or theft of attendees’ possessions.
Photography
- Please be mindful of other’s privacy when taking photos or videos. When uploading photos or videos of the event online, hide or blur the other attendee’s faces.
- In the Vendor Zone, ask for the vendor’s permission before taking photos of their vendor tables, and keep the other vendor tables outside the frame.
- Attendees may not livestream the event online.
- Photos and videos taken by the staff may be used publicly as reference, notice, or promotional material.
- Event staff are not responsible for any damages or problems arising from photos and videos posted by attendees. If such problems occur, please resolve the issue between the parties involved.
Restrictions
- While in the event venue, the activities listed below are not allowed.
- Any kind of violence or threat directed towards attendees or staff
- Inciting illegal or criminal activities
- purposefully damaging property and equipment
- Drinking alcohol or smoking
- Disrupting the operation of the event
- Entering restricted areas without permission
- Socially unacceptable or harmful expression, such as discrimination, hate speech, or defamation
- Below items are not allowed inside the event venue.
- Weaponry and hazardous materials
- Illegal drugs
- Animals, excluding service dogs
- Items that may prove unsanitary and/or dangerous enough to disrupt or pose a threat to the venue or attendees, or imitations of such items
- Other illegal items
- Violation of above rules may result in the immediate removal of the offending party from the venue. The staff has the final say on whether a specific act is a violation of the rules.
Response to Violations
- If an attendee has violated the Code of Conduct, the staff may take appropriate action depending on the severity of the violation. This includes, and not limited to, re-explaining the rules, giving warnings, removing the offender from the venue, or banning the offender from attending future events.
- If an attendee gets removed from the event due to a Code of Conduct violation, their admission badge will not be refunded.
Disclaimers
- To facilitate the smooth operation of the event, the staff may update the Code of Conduct at any time.
- The updated Code of Conduct takes effect as soon as it is announced. By continuing to participate in the event, you acknowledge and accept the updated Code of Conduct.
- The staff is not responsible for any damage resulting from attendee’s negligence of the event’s Code of Conduct.
Protection of Personal Information
Article 1 - Purposes of Collection and Use
- The MalangPony Staff will collect and use personal information solely for the following purposes and will not use it for any other purpose.
- Provision of Services: Identity verification, maintenance, and prevention of fraudulent use of services, etc.
- Complaint Handling: Verification of the complainant’s identity, contact for factual investigation, and notification of results, etc.
Article 2 - Processing and Retention Period
- Personal information will be retained for 90 days following the event.
- However, in the case of an ongoing factual investigation or complaint handling, the information shall be retained until the final resolution of the case.
Article 3 - Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
- The Staff will process personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1. Personal information shall be provided to third parties only in cases falling under the special provisions of the law, in accordance with Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act(개인정보 보호법).
Article 4 - Rights of Data Subjects and Legal Guardians
- Data subjects may exercise the following rights regarding personal information protection to the staff at any time:
- The right to request access to their personal information.
- The right to request correction in the case of errors.
- The right to request deletion.
- The right to request suspension of processing.
- When a request for correction, deletion, or suspension of processing is received, the Staff shall not use or provision the relevant personal information until the requested action is completed.
Article 5 - List of Personal Information Collected
- Mandatory: Information provided during registration (name, contact information, bank account number, shipping address, etc.), payment amount, and payment date.
Article 6 - Destruction of Personal Information
- The Staff will destroy personal information without delay once it is no longer needed, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the completion of the processing purposes.
